GEORGE WASHINGTON STATED

Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty teeth.

First Inaugural Address of George Washington...April 30, 1789

The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.

The Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Abraham Lincoln said:

"In this age, and in this country, public sentiment is everything. With it, nothing can fail; against it nothing can suceed. Whoever molds public sentiment goes deeper than he who enacts statutes, or pronounces judicial decisions."

James Madison Declared

The adversaries of the Constitution seem to have lost sight of the PEOPLE altogether in their reasonings on this subject; and to have viewed these different establishments not only as mutual rivals and enemies, but as uncontrolled by any common superior in their efforts to usurp the authorities of each other. These gentlemen must be reminded of their error. They must be told that the ULTIMATE AUTHORITY, wherever the derivative may be found, RESIDES IN THE PEOPLE ALONE. $250,000 fine & Five Years in prison

What possible and terrible crime could you possibly commit to incur such a punishment as up to $250,000 (a quarter of a million dollars) in fines and up to 5 years in prison? ...rape...manslaughter...assault...what? Well if you are a census taker that could be the cost you pay in dollars or in time served or both if you reveal any of the data (for the rest of your life) you have gotten while taking the census for the Census Bureau in about 5 months from now. Supposedly the information obtained by the Census Bureau cannot be shared with anyone, and that includes other federal agencies...wonder if that includes the Department of Home Land Security?HMMM? This data will supposedly include law abiding, tax paying citizens, non-tax payers, felons, illegal immigrants from all countries, undocumented immigrants from all countries and anyone and everyone else they can find and get to cooperate in this census.

The purpose of the census is get the number of all the people living in the US regardless of their status so that the Census Bureau and the federal government can figure out how your taxes will be distributed in an equitable? and "fair" manner...Hmmmm again. According to the Brookings Institution each person in the US uses about $1400 in annual program expenditures. So in fact, we already have a program that in a sense redistributes some of the money (wealth) to theoretically everyone...the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, the fat, the skinny, the legal, the illegal, the documented, the undocumented, the tax payer, the non-taxpayer....that sounds a lot like like what President Obama said in his campaign for President...to redistribute the wealth.

Just thought you folks out there would like to know this.
