Obama Bank Failure List

The number of U.S. bank failures in 2009 climbed to 106 after regulators shut down seven banks in the South and the Midwest. The failed banks were identified by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. as: Partners Bank, Naples, Fla.; Hillcrest Bank Florida, also in Naples; Flagship National Bank, Bradenton, Fla.; American United Bank, Lawrenceville, Ga.; Riverview Community Bank, Otsego, Minn.; Bank of Elmwood, Racine, Wis.; First DuPage Bank, Westmont, Ill.
